FOR CLIENTS WHO RESIDE IN Texas
Hi, I’m Kira Leach
Licensed Master of Social Work
When we experience trauma, we may experience a separation within from our physical and emotional self and our connection to nature and those around us. We may even be living an existence rooted in a fear which detaches us from our authentic self. When we embrace our healing journey through curiosity, exploration, processing our trauma, and discovering a deeper understanding of ourselves, we grow into a connection with our authentic self, allowing our existence to transform.
You are on your own path . . . your life journey. Some days are full of light, while other days may seem dim. In that dimness, you may be stumbling, leaving you feeling sad, lonely, angry, frightened, or numb. My purpose is to foster an environment of safety and acceptance where you are empowered with the freedom to explore your experiences, reconnect you to your physical self, and process your emotions all with the assurance of being seen, heard, and honored in your sacred journey to balance and well-being. I am here to provide a light to help you find your path, find your way, and find your peace.
It is my heartfelt belief that you have this incredible ability and wisdom to heal yourself and transform your life to one of authenticity, empowerment, resilience, and oneness.
My approach is a mosaic of therapeutic modalities and approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Attachment Style work, Co-Dependency Recovery, Somatic Experience Informed, traditional talk therapy, Mindfulness, Meditation/Guided Visualization, and Sound Meditation.
A few things about me:
I grew up in two different socioeconomic climates as a child of divorce, providing me the opportunity of experiencing these truly opposing worlds. I believe this has allowed me a greater understanding of cultural and economic diversity.
I love to try new things and especially thrive from stepping out of my comfort zone. Most of my impactful learning experiences have grown from making mistakes and discovering more effective ways to do things.
I come from a background of trauma and addiction which has inspired me to have the curiosity to welcome my journey of authenticity and healing and driven my calling to serve others in their journey of the discovery of self and healing.
Things I enjoy are nature, road trips, concerts, theater, dance, music, fireworks, meditation, breathwork, teaching, learning, mysteries, and exploring people, places, things, and ideas off the beaten path.
Choosing a therapist is an important decision.
If you're ready to embark on your transformative journey through this season of life, I invite you to schedule a complimentary 15-20 minute consultation. Together, we can explore if we're the right match to help you overcome obstacles and prioritize your mental well-being.
