FOR CLIENTS WHO RESIDE IN TEXAS AND NEW YORK
Hi, I’m Janice Rose
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) and Professional Certified Coach (PCC)
You keep showing up, but something feels off.
Maybe you overthink conversations, shut down to keep the peace, or try to fix everything to avoid conflict. You’re tired of repeating unhealthy relationship patterns but unsure how to change. You want connection that’s safe, real, and mutual—not surface-level or one-sided.
I work with individuals and couples stuck in these patterns, often rooted in attachment styles. Together, we explore why you respond the way you do—without blame—and learn new ways to relate. Healing starts with your relationship to yourself. Building emotional safety and authenticity within helps create it with others—partners, friends, family.
I also support adults carrying unresolved trauma, using Somatic Experiencing and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help regulate emotions, calm the nervous system, and feel at home in your body again.
You don’t have to hold it all together or guess how to meet your needs. Together, we create real solutions and improve communication to build secure, healthy relationships with yourself and others.
Healing is possible—and you deserve more from your life and relationships.
Supporting clients seeking mental health services that reside in Texas and New York. Clients seeking coaching services available throughout the US and abroad.
Fun Facts:
I am resilient.
Like many in my first year of college I learned how abruptly, and deflating, the concept of change is the only constant in life can be. In my early-20s it became necessary that I get on board with embracing change. Accepting this challenge with full awareness, helped me develop my superpower.
The ability to thrive in times of change and transition is my superpower.
Now, in my mid-40s I embrace it with open arms.
I love watching my clients develop their own ability to embrace change and transition. I thrive on supporting clients of all ages cherish the value and gifts that change can bring -- yes, even in the most traumatic of events.
Resiliency of your mind and body is a superpower of epic proportions. I would love to support you and your growth as you navigate how to welcome change and transition with open arms.
Choosing a therapist is an important decision.
If you're ready to embark on your transformative journey through this season of life, I invite you to schedule a complimentary 15-20 minute consultation. Together, we can explore if we're the right match to help you overcome obstacles and prioritize your mental well-being.
